This is apparent in the case of Brazil, a leading agricultural country in the world. Brazilian agricultural cooperatives encountered many difficulties during the debt crisis and hyperinflation from the 1980s to the mid-1990s, but cooperatives overcame these challenges, even expanding the nation’s exports.
